NV/ 21 Sparkling Chardonnay
This 100% Chardonnay offers a taunt, crystalline tension with great, textural breadth and tiny, spiraling bubbles. Intensely saline with notes of quince, lemon peel, crushed rocks, ginger, and hazelnut, it is savory and delicious immediately upon opening, and it continues to expand beautifully as it sits in the glass.
The amazing response to our inaugural release from you, sommeliers and wine critics was beyond our wildest dreams. Thank you! This next release continues with the same passion and attention to detail. The perpetual cuveé now contains eleven vintages but still comprises 50% of the wine, with the remaining 50% being 2021 Chardonnay from Campbell Ranch. It is a blend of three vineyards, Hawk Hill and Joyce, near Freestone, and Campbell Ranch in Annapolis. It was triage bottled on June 4th and disgorged with zero dosage 12 months later. This wine is beautiful now, but it will continue to blossom for decades to come
